Biography:
Chuan Ma, Ph.D, Professor, HongShen Young Scholar. He received his B.S. degree in Energy Power Systems and Automation from Wuhan University of Technology in 2012, and his Ph.D. degree in Thermal Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2017. He conducted the research as postdoctoral researcher at National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology in Japan from 2017.09 to 2020.08. He was selected as JSPS Fellow of Japan Society for the Promotion of Science and Technology in December 2019, and conducted JSPS research at Tohoku University from 2020.09 to 2022.09. He has published more than 40 SCI papers (including 3 ESI highly cited papers), with more than 1900 citations and H-index 22. 19 SCI papers (JCR Q1 18) have been published as the first/corresponding author in international authoritative journals, including Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews, Fuel, Green Chemistry, Chemical Chemical Journal, Journal of Hazardous Materials, etc. 2 national invention patents and 1 Japanese patent have been authorized. He has presided a research project funded by JSPS, and he was the main member of two special sub-projects (28.457 and 2.065 billion yen respectively) of the New Energy Development Organization (NEDO), and has participated in several research projects funded by the Japanese government.

(2) Pollutant generation mechanism and prevention technology in energy utilization;
