Biography:

Prof. Xuesen Du graduated from Zhejiang University with a bachelor's degree. In 2008, he joined the State Key Laboratory of Clean Energy Utilization of Zhejiang University to pursue a Ph.D. from 2012 to 2013. He visited the University of Notre Dame (US) as a visiting scholar and worked with Prof. William Schneider. In 2014, he received a doctorate degree. Joined Chongqing University in June 2014, he has undertaken more than 10 national, provincial and ministerial-level, and company research projects. He has published more than 50 SCI indexed papers in J. Catal., Appl. Catal. B: Environ., Catal. Sci. & Tech., J. Hazard. Mat. and other international high-level journals, of which 3 are ESI highly cited papers. His papers have been cited more than 2,000 times. He has made 3 invited reports and more than 10 oral reports at domestic and foreign academic conferences, and was invited to serve as the host of the branch venues of academic conferences 3 times. He serves as reviewers of more than 40 journals (including ACS Catal., Environ. Sci. & Technol., etc) and judges for the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the National Science Foundation of Poland. He has won the Academic Newcomer Award of the Ministry of Education, and the National Excellent Young Doctor Award from the Gao Tingyao Academic Environmental Protection Foundation.
