Biography:

Ran Jing-yu, Ph.D, Professor. Deputy dean of school of energy and power engineering, Chongqing university; Deputy director of the key laboratory of low-grade energy utilization technology and systems of the ministry of education; Director of energy and environment research institute, Chongqing university. Vice chairman of Chongqing energy research institute; Vice President of Chongqing institute of refrigeration; Member of the committee of combustion science of Chinese society of engineering thermophysics; Member, multiphase flow committee, Chinese society of engineering thermophysics.

He has been engaged in the teaching, research and application of combustion science, energy conservation and emission reduction. He is the academic leader of the discipline of combustion and energy conservation and emission reduction in Chongqing university. Editorial board of Advances in Energy Research(ERi), an International Journal, Journal of Energy and Power Engineering, Chinese Journal of Engineering. In 2008. He was awarded as "Young backbone teachers in colleges and universities of Chongqing", winner of "New century excellent talents program of the ministry of education" in 2008, and "Top ten experts with outstanding contributions to energy conservation and emission reduction in Chongqing". National ministry of industry and information technology industrial energy saving and green development evaluation center (Chongqing University) "and" Complementary distributed energy technology and system engineering technology center in Chongqing”, "the Chongqing group of thermal energy and power engineering major courses teaching team", innovation team in Chongqing "Low grade energy efficient conversion and utilization of clean technology". In recent years, he has presided over 3 projects of the national science foundation of China, 1 sub-project of the national key research and development program, 9 projects at the provincial and ministerial level (Ministry of education, Chongqing science and technology project), and over 30 enterprise research projects. Won 1 second prize of national science and technology progress award, 1 first prize of science and technology progress award of Ministry of education, 2 third prize of Chongqing science and technology progress award; 27 Chinese patents, including 14 invention patents; Chief editor of "12, 3 or 5" planning textbooks for general higher education; He has published more than 150 papers in SCI and EI journals.

1. Combustion Science

o  Dynamic mechanism of fuel efficient gasification and combustion

o  Theory and mechanism of controlled combustion under extreme conditions

o  Clean and efficient combustion technology of gas-liquid-solid fuel

o  Biomass energy thermochemical conversion technology

 

2. Energy-saving technology

o  Energy saving technology for thermal equipment, thermal process and thermal system

 

3. Emission reduction technology

o  Basic theory of CO2 emission reduction and energy technology

o  Efficient thermal chemical transfer and emission reduction technology of organic solid waste

o  Combustion pollutant (NOx, SOx, Dust, etc.) control theory and technology
