Keeping the original aspiration and assuming the mission, the School of Energy and Power Engineering holds a work meeting on the construction of power engineering and engineering thermophysics

The School of Energy and Power Engineering steadily promoted the theme education of "Don't forget the original heart, keep the mission in mind", guided all teachers to strengthen their ideals and beliefs, keep in mind the original mission, and actively promoted the college's "double first-class" discipline construction.

On December 5th, the School of Energy and Power Engineering held a conference on the construction of power engineering and engineering thermophysics in the room 315 . All the school teams, the main persons in charge of subject construction, counselors, academic teachers, and scientific research managers attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Prof. Li Jun who is in charge of scientific research and discipline construction of the college.

At the meeting, the dean of the school, Prof. Liao Qiang, emphasized the importance of discipline construction. He said that discipline construction is the foundation of the college’s work, and the development of disciplines involved all aspects of the school’s work. All participating teachers are required to sum up their experience in discipline construction with a high sense of responsibility and promote the high-quality connotative development of the college’s disciplines.

Prof. Li Jun introduced in detail the work plan for advancing the construction of power engineering and engineering thermophysics, and clarified the responsibilities and content of each responsible teacher.

Prof. Pan Liangming, secretary of the Party Committee, made a concluding speech. He once again emphasized the importance of doing a good job in discipline construction, and asked the whole colleagues to do a good job in discipline construction.
