The winter vacation social practice group of "Youth · Luye", School of Energy and Power Engineering, Chongqing University, with the theme of "Promoting ecological consciousness, building beautiful countryside", explored the ecological and environmental protection mode of Chongqing, went deep into the Tuchang town of Hechuan district, investigated grass-roots production enterprises, and participated in the environmental protection symposium held by the town government.
This activity visited the production and assembly workshop of Yanxiang mtorcycle parts factory in the town of Earth, and learned that the enterprise attaches great importance to environmental protection production, testing motorcycles in strict accordance with the national environmental protection requirements. It also introduces the related measures such as waste water treatment and waste gas treatment. It is reported that the factory has invested nearly 700,000 yuan to renovate the sewage pipeline, so as to achieve the separation of rain and sewage, and meet the three-level discharge standard of sewage. In addition, three catalytic devices have been added to enable the waste gas to get polluted discharge.

It is reported that Tuchang town invests as much as 7 million yuan every year to promote the environmental construction, focusing on environmental protection publicity lectures, demonstration of sanitation workers, control of cooking fume, the implementation of livable demonstration village construction and other means, from the small point of view, to improve the living environment of residents. In particular, attention has been paid to the treatment of domestic wastewater. Special funds have been allocated for the reconstruction of village sewage pipe projects and the new construction of large sewage treatment plants. In the future, domestic wastewater treatment will be fully covered in soil farms and towns.
